Innovative urban projects that can become a model for the construction industry of the future are being created in Poland far from the centres of large cities. The province sets an example, argues Anna Cymer in a text published on the website “Culture.pl”. Its main example is our Town.

You can find the full article HERE.

The author appreciates our way of thinking about the city and points out that a “sustainable housing estate is being created here – and therefore friendly, offering comfort and safety, as well as  a space conducive to establishing social relations and building a local community.”

However, there is one aspect of the article we cannot agree with – Siewierz Jeziorna Town is not being built in the province. We are only a 20-minute drive to the centre of Katowice. Our immediate neighbourhood is the city of Siewierz and the picturesque Przeczycko-Siewierskie reservoir. Thanks to this, we are close to schools, health centres, shopping centres and other services. Amongst these is an airport, which can be easily reached within 15 minutes.

Perhaps the author’s mistake stems from the fact that life does slow down a bit here, which has a certain charm about it. It is intimate and peaceful. However, you only have to get on a bike or go for a short walk to find out that, in fact, we are at the centre of the life of the local community.
